1. Who we are

EmissionPlan ("we", "our", "us") is an EU carbon reporting platform for SMBs. We are the data controller for personal data you provide to us. Contact: privacy@greenledger.io

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, company name, country
Emission data: energy, transport, and waste figures you enter
Usage data: pages visited, features used (no third-party trackers)
Payment data: handled entirely by LemonSqueezy — we never store card details

3. How we use your data

To provide the carbon calculation and reporting service
To send you important account and compliance notifications
To improve the product (aggregated, anonymised analytics only)

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) for account and service data, and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests) for product analytics.

5. Data storage & transfers

All data is stored on servers within the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). We do not transfer personal data outside the EU.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data (via Settings)
Delete your account and all data (via Settings → Account)
Export your data — email us at privacy@greenledger.io
Object to processing — email us

We respond to all requests within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 24 hours. Anonymised, aggregated emission benchmarks may be retained for product improvement.

8. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
